Male Dog Belly
If you have a male dog with a lot of hair (Pom, Samoyed, etc. )…?
It may be a dumb question, but if they have long hair, does not get to pee in their fur? Or do you shave the belly side and let the hair part of the hang (so you can not really say that the belly is shaved unless the dog is on it's back)? I considered getting a male Samoyed, I'm just not sure how the hair / pee things are going to work out with a male dog.
You can shave certain areas but be careful not to give clipper burn, that is a sensitive area. Do not shave the scrotum! ! ! ! Trim around there if you really have to place but does not read the peeing. Most do not need to shave cause have them a way of not getting it to them. If the fur gets darker & darker after he was peeing in his coat. Just trim the hair dark.
